The data is derived from a weekly survey conducted by Morning Consult, a US-based decision intelligence company.
Approval ratings were collected from November 29 to December 5, using a seven-day moving average of adult residents in each country.
Sample sizes for the survey vary by country, ranging from approximately 500 to 5,000 respondents, with India having a significant sample size.
The top three leaders following PM Modi in global approval are Andrés Manuel López
Obrador (Mexico) with 66%, Alain Berset (Switzerland) with 58%, and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Brazil) with 49%.
Anthony Albanese from Australia shares the fifth position with a 47% approval rating.
The survey also highlights Giorgia Meloni (Italy) at 41%, Alexander De Croo (Belgium) at 37%, and a three-way tie at the tenth position with Joe Biden (U.S.), and Pedro Sánchez (Spain) also at 37%.
Despite maintaining his top position, PM Modi's approval percentage has slightly decreased, dropping from 78% on November 20 to 76% in the recent survey.
The survey reflects both approval and disapproval ratings, indicating that PM Modi also has a 17% disapproval rating.
